 Winning the Outdoor Fireplace category was Cal Flame’s new FRP-4300 Tropical Senses Outdoor Fireplace, an elegant see-through fireplace that allows the hearth’s alluring flame to be seen and felt by guests gathered on either side.
Standing over eight feet tall, the FRP-4300 is designed to give homeowners a multipurpose focal point for patios, poolscapes and gazebos. This unique model performs like a traditional grill, but uses a regular electrical power source to grill food. Just plug it into a 220V outlet and this new grill will efficiently use conventional electricity to barbecue fare, creating tantalizing flavors and savory aromas. The gas-powered infrared burner and convection feature serve as an added cooking bonus. Its European-influenced glass cooktop allows the grill to function like an indoor glass cook top, but unlike the glass cook tops of the indoor world, you can cook directly on the glass of the unit. The glass cooktop and the lack of an open flame also eliminate flare-ups that are common with traditional grills, making this a safe grilling alternative for areas that do not allow an open flame.
