The San Gabriel Valley (Calif.) Economic Partnership presented Cal Spas with its “Business of the Year” award on Oct. 12. The spa company also received certificates of recognition from the California State Senate, The California State Assembly and Los Angeles Country. After opening a new manufacturing facility in April, the firm doubled its work force to 1,200 employees, becoming the largest employer in Pomona, Calif. Cal Spas is based in Pomona and produces portable spas, swim spas, patio accessories and other Home Resort Products.
